Opening in 2020 Crimson Oak Restaurant & Pub breaks through with a creative force, taking Southern Indiana by surprise.

Executive Chef Nash Frederick's seasonal menus are the main focus of Crimson Oak's kitchen. Emphasis placed on using locally sourced products & scratch ingredients, our menu features steak, burgers, pork, and chicken with a creative twist plus duck and lamb.

The pub highlights American craft breweries with rotating selections and several bottle options. Signature cocktails made from house-made syrups, bitters, and premium spirits are sure to please. The wine list focuses on smaller boutique wineries, allowing guests to enjoy something new & exciting.

The chef-inspired menu with extensive bar selections makes for a night of good times, receiving rave reviews from customers along with some newsworthy attention. This explosive dynamic team’s commitment of adding value to the customers experience is at the heart of all of their decision making. Focused and steadfast on serving with a great atmosphere, unique creations and friendly service it’s no wonder why customers rave about this place.


  • Founder/Owners

    No stranger to restaurant ownership, Elizabeth was born and raised with the Stream Cliff Farm family businesses, where she owns the Stream Cliff Farm Restaurant. Venturing out off the family farm, she and her husband, Troy, decided to try a new downtown business in North Vernon in 2020. While only just beginning, the restaurant's popularity has spread beyond the Indiana state lines.

    Born and raised in North Vernon, Nash has always wanted to be a chef. After high school, he decided to take a chance of living his dream by attending Sullivan University in Louisville. Learning from the ground up and honing his craft, Chef Nash is now delivering his unique creations back in his hometown.

    Emily Pearson has been with Crimson Oak from the beginning. She has a passion for the restaurant industry and has been working in this line of work for many years. Emily started by working in the back of the house- making food and catering and serving for a few years but her passion is serving the guests. She loves coming to work knowing she can make a positive impact no matter how small & help others make great memories. What more excellent gift than a hot fresh meal! She is grateful to have her first management opportunity at Crimson- a place she loves to be & do what she loves. Her goal is to grow with the company- she is excited to see what the future holds for Crimson and so proud to be a part of it.
